Canoeing in East Sussex
Bewl Canoe Club
The club paddles the waters of Bewl Water Reservoir near Tunbridge Wells during the summer months. Kayak and canoe coaching is available and in the winter months the club organises expeditions to slightly scarier waters.
Cuckmere Valley Canoe Club
Cuckmere Valley Canoe Club enjoys a truly beautiful place to enjoy their canoeing. Their location also means that they have a good variety of water to paddle, from shallow slow running stretches of the river, to faster waters near the river mouth and the opportunity to venture out into the English Channel while trying out kayak surfing.
Hastings Canoe Club
Hastings Canoe Club canoe and kayak in the sea off Hastings and in the Battle Abbey swimming pool as well as travelling to Wales and the West Country from time to time to enjoy interesting stretches of water.
Sussex Canoe Club
Sussex Uni's white water kayaking club is open to members of the general public too.
